It Doesn’t Have to Feel Like This

If you are finding yourself overwhelmed and struggling to deal with life’s stressors, I encourage you to reach out for help. Maybe you have been able to handle your stress on your own for years, but as your environment changes so does your need for helpful coping skills. Having support during difficult times eases the emotional, physical, and mental toll and allows you to feel better sooner. With some support, you can get back to finding contentment and joy in everyday life. There are long term health side effects of chronic stress and anxiety that you can avoid if you choose to take care of yourself now. Over the course of my 10 years working with students I have found your desire to adapt, change, and grow so inspiring.

Individual Counseling

I offer face-to face individual therapy sessions for 18 years and older. These sessions are typically weekly but can be adjusted based on your needs. Therapy is not one-size fits all, and we will work together to meet your individual needs. We welcome working with physicians offices or any other health professionals that have supported you.

Online Counseling

Tele-health or online video counseling sessions are available to clients located in Mississippi. You can schedule appointments by choosing “tele-health session” when booking through our online system. A secure link will be emailed to the account on file a few minuets before your session begins. This technology has made therapy more accessible across the state and convenient when social distancing is needed.

Wellness Sessions

If you are wondering if you could benefit from talking with a therapist, the answer is probably “YES”. Wellness sessions are a great way to have a mental and emotional “check-up”. You do not need to be in crisis to seek support. In fact, some of the best growth happens when individuals are emotionally stable allowing them clear perspective into their strengths and challenges. Many of my clients are away from their support system and enjoy having extra support in Oxford while experiencing this new stage of life.

College Mentor/

Coaching Sessions

Mentorship for college students and recent graduates is provided through MIND YOUR MENTALS. This is not a therapeutic level of care but a little extra support for college students. Visit MIND YOUR MENTALS to see if this is a good fit.
