Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?
I work with adults 18 and older, primarily college students and young adults.
What kinds of things do you help with?
Many of my clients come to therapy for anxiety, stress, overthinking, perfectionism, self-doubt, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed.
I also work with people experiencing grief. Sometimes it follows the death of someone you love. Other times it comes with the end of a relationship, a major life change, or the loss of the future you thought you were going to have.
I work with clients who are trying to make sense of those losses, adjust to what has changed, and figure out how to move forward without minimizing what they’ve been through.
Is virtual therapy a good fit for me?
It may be if you want a private, convenient way to meet from home, school, or another comfortable space.
Virtual therapy can work especially well for college students and young adults navigating busy schedules, transitions, and changing routines.
Do you take insurance?
No. I am a private-pay therapist and do not file insurance.
I can provide a superbill or invoice that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Why private pay?
Private pay gives us more flexibility in how we work together and does not require therapy to be driven by insurance diagnoses or session limits.
If you have questions about cost or reimbursement, I’m happy to talk through them with you.
Where do I need to be located?
You must be physically located in Mississippi at the time of your session.
As long as you are in Mississippi, we can meet online.
